- In winter the Calathea needs less water.
Where does the basket marant grow?
The first discoveries of Calathea were in the shaded areas of the Amazon region in South America. More precisely, under the dense vegetation.
How often does the marantine need water?
The Calathea can be watered every 2 weeks with approx. 5 cl of water.
Where does the basket marante feel most comfortable?
As soon as the sun rises in the morning, the Calathea spreads its magnificent leaves and closes them again in the evening to capture the sunlight.
